One of the joys of having an espresso machine at home is making special (and very seasonal) drinks. Make this delicious Gingerbread Latte at home to keep the holiday feelings going through the month of January and beyond. Recipe from our friend @jlinhh.
Gingerbread syrup (8-10 servings) ⛄️
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup water
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp molasses
- pinch of nutmeg
Bring to a boil and store in an airtight container in the fridge!
- 1-2 tbsp gingerbread syrup
- Double shot of espresso
- 1 cup steam milk (I used oat, but any works!) Also, if you don’t have a machine with a steam wand, you can heat up milk in the microwave and use an electric whisk to get it nice and frothy!
Mix everything together, pour in milk, add whipped cream and top with some cinnamon or nutmeg! Enjoy ✨
