Espresso has been around for over 100 years. Since its introduction in Italy, café culture has continued to grow and has made its way into the daily lives of people across the world. Going to your favorite coffee shop and enjoying a well-made made cappuccino is one of life’s hidden gems.

While many of us brew coffee and enjoy it from the comfort of our own homes, it can be difficult to achieve the same quality of your local cafe when it comes to espresso.

Well, we’d like to change that.

That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new La Marzocco Home Barista Basics Class.

By grasping the basics, we hope you’ll fall in love with the ritual of making espresso at home. There will be a professional barista on hand to teach you to make your favorite drinks on the La Marzocco GS3 and Linea Mini.

We’ll cover various topics, including:

– Targeting Your Ideal Espresso

– Basic Espresso Theory

– Hands-On Espresso Brewing

– Hands-On Milk Steaming

By using professional equipment and techniques, we’ll show you how it’s possible to have an uncompromised espresso experience.

Classes start at 10:00 am every first Sunday of the Month at the Home Espresso Lab within La Marzocco Cafe. You can check out the La Marzocco Home Events Calendar for other class times, events, and sign ups.

If you’re not in Seattle, don’t worry, you can take our online ChefSteps class “Espresso: The Art of Extraction,” and be sure to stay tuned for expanded class offerings in Seattle and other cities around the U.S.
