Little Wolf

March’s Featured Espresso Subscription Roaster

Little Wolf Coffee began roasting in 2016 in the small town of Ipswich, MA just north of Boston. Passionate about making good coffee, we source only the highest quality green coffee and work with those who seek to do the same. We roast a small, intentional selection with care to bring forth the unique qualities of each one, highlighting what makes them special.  Even with all that, we believe a cup can only be as good as the company you share it with. So, grab some friends(furry or not) and brew it just the way you like it; we won’t judge as long as you enjoy.

Las Perlitas

Throughout the harvest, it’s quite common that small-holders in Colombia produce lots that aren’t large enough to be exported on their own. However, the quality is often just as good (or better) than samples received from larger lots. As such, we buy all coffees, regardless of size and create a larger, export-size lot based on cup score and profile. The result is Las Perlitas Narino; a celebrated coffee of various small lots from producers in Huila, whose farms range in elevation from 1,600 to 1,900 m.a.s.l. and grow Caturra, Colombia and Castillo.

We love this coffee with a little longer brewing ratio than normal to really open up the fruit notes. With that said, it’s pretty forgiving so feel free to play around with it to your tastes but we strongly encourage a long ratio like this to open it up. Either way, enjoy straight or with milk equally.

Eli Garcia Peru

We love coffees from Peru because they remind us just how delicious a “classic” coffee profile can be. This is just like the coffee your parents drink but so much cleaner and with just a kick of citrus to keep things balanced back out. Eli Garcia is a new producer to us form the Cajamarca region of Peru and it’s everything we look for in Peru and more.

This coffee is your classic but delicious espresso option. We like 40g out as it keeps some of the crisp acidity this coffee can have to balance out the deep sweetness. Equally delicious straight or under milk, we think it really shines as a Capp.
