Coffee Station is a system that connects La Marzocco machines, grinders, and scales through the La Marzocco App. It lets you set espresso yields on the Linea Mini (with Brew-by-weight), and program set doses on the Pico(with Grind-by-weight). Whether you’re at home, in a café, or running a pop-up, Coffee Station helps you make espresso easily and consistently.

Can I connect multiple grinders, scales and machines to the La Marzocco App?

Yes! The La Marzocco App lets you connect multiple devices and create different stations.

What is Grind-by-Weight?

Grind-by-Weight is an advanced dosing method available for the Pico Grinder when paired with the La Marzocco Connected Scale. It ensures precise and consistent grinding by automatically stopping at the target weight, streamlining your workflow.

What is Coffee Station, and how does it relate to Grind-by-Weight?

Coffee Station is an integrated espresso ecosystem that links multiple La Marzocco machines, grinders, and scales through the La Marzocco App. It allows users to customize their setup, set espresso yields, and program dosing for a fully connected experience. Grind-by-Weight works seamlessly within Coffee Station or as a stand alone feature.

How does Grind-by-Weight work with Brew-by-Weight?

Brew-by-Weight, available on the Linea Mini, stops espresso extraction at a preset weight, ensuring consistent shots. Grind-by-Weight on the Pico dose the same thing but with our grinder. When used together, Grind-by-Weight and Brew-by-Weight create a precise and repeatable workflow, enhancing espresso quality and we call this Coffee Station.

Is my La Marzocco Brew-by-Weight Scale compatible?

Yes! The La Marzocco Brew-by-Weight Scale has been rebranded as the La Marzocco Connected Scale. If you already own one, it is fully compatible with Coffee Station and Grind-by-Weight—no updates required. Just pair, train, and start brewing.

Where can I download the La Marzocco App?

The La Marzocco App is available now for iOS and Android. Download it to connect and control your espresso setup effortlessly.

Does Coffee Station work with commercial and home La Marzocco machines?

Yes! Coffee Station is designed to work with certain home and commercial La Marzocco machines, making it easy to integrate into any workflow—whether at home, in a café, or in a pop-up.

Can I connect multiple grinders, scales, and machines to Coffee Station?

Yes! The La Marzocco App lets you connect multiple devices and organize them into different Coffee Stations based on workflow. Multiple grinder functionality is coming soon, and you can already connect multiple scales to a Coffee Station.

Can I switch between different Coffee Stations in the app?

Yes, you can create and manage multiple Coffee Stations in the app, making it easy to switch between setups based on location or workflow.

Can I use Grind-by-Weight without Coffee Station?

Yes, Grind-by-Weight works as a standalone feature with the Pico Grinder and La Marzocco Connected Scale. However, it reaches its full potential when integrated into a Coffee Station alongside Brew-by-Weight on the Linea Mini.

Can I manually override Brew-by-Weight or Grind-by-Weight?

Yes! If you need to adjust on the fly:

• To stop a shot early, move the brew paddle on the Linea Mini.

• To stop a grind early, press any button on the Pico Grinder.

• For full manual control, set your Connected Scale to Continuous Mode on any equipment you’d like to operate freely.

Can I update my Pico Grinder to support Grind-by-Weight if I already own one?

Yes! If you own a Pico Grinder, you can enable Grind-by-Weight by pairing it with the La Marzocco Connected Scale and updating its settings in the La Marzocco App.
