Why is La Marzocco Home starting an espresso subscription? +

In 2016 we opened the La Marzocco Cafe right in the heart of the Seattle Center, as an all-immersive, hands-on espresso experience featuring a new roaster from around the world each month. It is our way to share the wonderfully diverse world of specialty coffee with the community.

Each month we transform into a completely new cafe featuring a unique menu, updated bar design and fresh coffee selection from a different roaster from around the globe. This approach has been an incredible way to experience how specialty coffee is being interpreted by various roasters and cultures.

The La Marzocco Home Espresso Subscription gives home baristas, such as yourself, the opportunity to brew the same espresso each month that is being brewed in the Cafe. Consider it our Cafe experience in your kitchen. Included with the coffee, you’ll receive tips, tricks and brew parameters from the roasters themselves, as well as in-depth case studies and white papers curated by our team.

Our aim is to create a community where home espresso enthusiasts can improve and perfect their craft through a diversity of brewing experiences, whether they can make it to Seattle or not.

How do I sign up? +

In order to sign up, click here. All we need from you is your name, email address, payment and shipping information.

How much coffee do I get? +

You will receive 2 bags of espresso each month.

The exact weight of coffee will vary depending on the packaging capacity of each roaster’s retail bag. US roasters will normally send two 12 oz. bags while international roasters typically ship in two 250 gram bags. We will make sure to inform you of the amount of coffee in each shipment before it’s shipped.

How much does it cost? +

The La Marzocco Home Espresso Subscription is $39/month. This will be charged to all subscribers with an active account on the 1st of each month.

Does that include shipping? +

Yes! Shipping is included in the monthly price.

How will I be charged? +

After signing up, your credit card will be charged automatically on the 1st of each month. This is the same process for both personal and gift subscriptions. We also have added the option to sign up for 1, 3, 6 and 12 month subscriptions that auto cancel at the end of your selected time period. These subscriptions will still automatically charge your card on the 1st of the month until your time runs out.

How often do I get coffee? +

You will receive 2 retail bags of coffee once a month. Usually the coffee will arrive around the 15th of each month depending on the distance of each roaster.

When will my coffee ship? +

The first day of each month will serve as open enrollment for the next month’s espresso. As long as you are signed up by 11:59 PM on the last day of the previous month you can expect to receive your coffee by mid month following the month of your sign up.

If you are already signed up, you will be charged on the 1st of each month and receive your coffee mid month after payment. You will also receive tracking information once your espresso is on the way!

How long after the roast date can I expect to have my coffee? +

You can expect to see your coffee within 2 weeks of the closing of subscription. Due to various roast days of each roaster, the exact time will fluctuate. We do not repackage the coffee, so it will be shipped to you right after it is roasted. International coffees will obviously arrive a bit later after the roast date than domestic roasters.

Espresso does tend to be more enjoyable with a few days to rest after it has been roasted as well!

How do you suggest I brew my espresso? +

This is the fun part about the La Marzocco Home subscription. Since we feature rotating coffee roasters in our subscription, we also work with each roaster to provide the proper specifications and technique on how to best brew their espresso at home. That means that you will learn a variety of approaches to brewing espresso while getting to try new coffee each month!

If I liked a coffee, can I buy more of it? +

Yes! Each month of the subscription will include information about each roaster which includes the proper link to purchase more of your favorite coffee directly.

When do I need to sign up by to receive the next shipment? +

In order to receive the next shipment of coffee, sign up by 11:59 PM (PST) on the last day of the previous month

Do you ship outside of the United States? +

At this time we do not have the ability to ship beyond the United States.

Can I change the amount of espresso I receive each month? +

To keep it simple, we will consistently send 2 retail bags of coffee each month to all subscribers.

Am I able to change the frequency of my subscription? +

With a monthly rotating list of roasters in residence at the La Marzocco Café, the La Marzocco Home subscription serves as an extension for each subscriber to join in on the Cafe experience from afar. The frequency of your subscription will always be one time a month, while also including various approaches to brewing espresso.

How do I pause my subscription? +

You can pause your subscription under the “My Account” section at the top right section of our website. In order to cancel before next month’s subscription you must pause before the 1st of the month.
