We’re setting up in The Wonder Jam’s beautiful studio space for a hands-on class for anyone who’s ever wanted to be a barista! You’ll learn how to pull a shot of espresso, how to taste it, how to steam milk, how to pour latte art, and all about the equipment you need to make your favorite cafe drinks at home, including flavored syrups from Root23.

Adding steamed milk to espresso can make or break a drink, but by understanding the basics of milk steaming, you’ll learn to balance temperature, texture, and consistency to ensure you’re adding the best milk possible to your espresso. A professional barista will teach you how to make your favorite drinks on the La Marzocco Linea Mini.

1:30 pm | Linea Mini Open House – Mission Coffee Co. Cafe
Throughout the afternoon, we’ll be around to answer any questions about our home espresso machines, and give you the opportunity to pull your own shot on the Linea Mini. Stop by to get your hands on the machine, pull shots, steam milk, and ask questions.
